Paralegal

I have always had a strong interest in law which is why I commenced attending a Paralegal/Legal Assistant program immediately following high school. I obtained my Paralegal/Legal Assistant Diploma from Atlantic Business College in 2006 and quickly began my career as a Legal Assistant with a large firm in western Canada focused primarily in the fields of insurance defense and civil litigation.

I returned to the east coast where I commenced working as a paralegal in personal injury law and shortly thereafter transitioned into family law, which has been my interest and focus since early 2011.

I have been a part of the TANDEM team since its opening in 2016, often taking on different roles within the company.

With more than a decade of experience in the legal field as well as my own personal experience, I am passionate about helping families navigate the emotional and often overwhelming process relating to separation and custody issues.

Outside of work I love spending time with my boyfriend, two sons and extended family.
