LORRAINE MONTEIRO

Legal Assistant

I came from India and arrived in Canada in 2022 to pursue a Master's in Management at Crandall University. My inherent inclination towards assisting others and my passion for engaging in intellectually stimulating conversations guided me in making thoughtful decisions for my academic journey. It all began with my pursuit of a Bachelor of Mass Media degree, with a specialization in Journalism. As I aspired to delve into fields such as Judicial or Parliamentary journalism, I felt compelled to study law. Little did I anticipate that upon graduating in Law in 2013, I would develop a deep affection for it.

Since 2013, I have practiced law, focusing primarily on Property Law and US Immigration Law until my transition to the Tandem team in 2023. Though I play a different role at Tandem, I find immense joy in remaining connected to the legal field and continuing to engage in what I have always cherished.

Beyond my legal career and the basketball court, I love spending time with my family and my dog, Bonzo. Reading, gardening, dancing, and any form of creative activities brings me immense joy, while my passion for food keeps me constantly on my toes. I have a fondness for traveling and meeting new people.
