KIRSTYN RUSSELL
Paralegal
I have been practicing almost exclusively in Family Law for the past four years. My educational journey began at St. Thomas University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. Subsequently, I pursued further education at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario, achieving a Paralegal Graduate Certificate. In 2019, I successfully obtained my license to practice as a Paralegal from the Law Society of Ontario. However, I eventually decided to relocate closer to my hometown.
One of the most gratifying aspects of my role is working closely with clients and building trust-based relationships. I take pride in tackling the unique challenges each case presents and collaborating with the lawyer I support to develop tailored strategies for individuals.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in staying active and spending quality time outdoors with my family and our dogs. During the fall and winter seasons, you'll often find me volunteering at the Miramichi Curling Club, where I promote and participate in a sport that I am passionate about. Being originally from the Miramichi area, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work remotely from there, thanks to the understanding and support of my colleagues.
