I recently moved from Halifax to join Tandem Family Law.  In Halifax, I was employed with a large family law firm, MDW Law, since 2015.  I practice exclusively in family law and wills and estates.  I am most comfortable when busy and right at home in high-pressure situations.  I enjoy research, legal writing, oral advocacy, and the connection made with my clients.

I am particularly passionate about helping to negotiate fair settlements for my clients that are workable and practical. I do have six years of experience in the courtroom on family law issues when that is needed. I hope to grow my practice in the areas of adoption and surrogacy law, as I enjoy bringing families together and the joy and excitement that comes with it.

Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, I arrived in the Maritimes to play varsity soccer at Saint Mary’s University and continued playing in my first year of law school at Dalhousie University.

When not at the office or on the soccer pitch, I am likely to be found on the golf course, spending time with all the “littles” in my life or reading a good book in a comfy chair.

I am extremely excited about my transition to Tandem Family Law and look forward to helping my new and old clients in finding a resolution.
